PRESS RELEASE – Blue-White Scholarship breakfast

MANALAPAN, N.J. — The Community Refuge Education and Recreation Center today announced the Blue-White Scholarship Breakfast to be held at The Penn Stater Hotel in State College, Pennsylvania during annual Blue-White Weekend on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 10 am. Fan-favorite Sam Ficken will be the guest speaker.  Former Nittany Lion safety Lee Rubin and his wife, Carmen, are hosting the event.

The Blue-White Scholarship Breakfast is just one of many programs sponsored through the Community Refuge Education and Recreation Center-a non-profit organization in central New Jersey.  We’ve used these funds over the years to help countless deserving young men and women defray the costs of their college expenses.

The Blue-White Scholarship Breakfast is open to all Penn State fans and alumni and will feature  a number of Penn State Football Lettermen in attendance, including Sam Ficken as our special guest speaker.

There will also be a silent auction during the breakfast event featuring rare, autographed collectables from former Penn State greats!  Additional items will be available via an online auction for those who are unable to attend the event. Corporate table sponsors are welcome to participate.  Businesses will be advertised at the breakfast.

This is an event no true Penn State fan can miss! Tickets are just $25 and seating is limited. To purchase tickets or make donations, visit the organization’s website,  https://onebluevillage.org/breakfast/.
