Blue White Scholarship Breakfast
The Blue White Scholarship Breakfast is our primary fundraising event. On the Saturday morning of the Blue-White Scrimmage, we invite the village to join us for breakfast. Over the years, Penn State Football Lettermen attend and sit with fans of all ages. The event includes a keynote speaker who delivers an informative and inspirational message. While our original intent was to inspire the students, inevitably, the message inspires EVERYONE in attendance to be their best! The event includes one of the most outstanding Silent Auction collections with a focus on Penn State Football items.
The breakfast is always completed in plenty of time for attendees to head over to Beaver Stadium to meet the current Nittany Lion football team and enjoy the Blue-White Game.
Trip to Knoebels Amusement Park
We were honored to be a part of Penn State Day at Knoebels. Students from high schools in Central Pennsylvania enjoyed the rides and attractions of this family-friendly amusement park…even the Penn State Blue Band showed up! Our students were given a complimentary registration which included lunch, ride tickets, a give-away item, and a tee-shirt. The event was sponsored by Penn State Northeast PA Alumni Association Chapter.
Happy Alley Lettermen’s Bowl-a-thon
One Blue Village partnered with HFL Charities to host the First Annual Happy Alley Lettermen’s Bowl-A-Thon. The tournament was held June 2, 2022 at Northland Bowl in State College as part of the Annual Football Lettermen’s Weekend. Lettermen from multiple decades attended, and the support from the community was tremendous. It was an honor to be a part of this outstanding event!
